While public school employees do not pay into SDI, as we are an exempt agency; you are more the welcome to reach out to leaves@ousd.org for leave options, and support.
Our Leave Management Coordinators can look into your eligibility for FMLA, CFRA, or Ed Code Leave, as guided by medical documentation.
Employees may select SL (abbreviated for Safe Leave) and the corresponding leave category in Frontline, for any Safe Leave related absences.
