Child Find
Child Find is a legal requirement for schools to seek to locate, assess and–if eligible–provide services to children with disabilities. Child Find is a part of the Federal law that governs Special Education, called the Americans with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Child Find applies to students through age 21.
