Meet Ms. Riback!

One of Montera’s Math and Science teachers, Grade 6 since 2014

Ms. Jennifer Riback was born and raised in Oakland, CA. She went to the University of Oregon and transferred to Cal State Hayward (now known as Cal State Eastbay). She wanted to become a lawyer or a teacher, but she didn’t want to go to law school. So, she became a teacher.

Ms. Riback went to Montera as a student, so she decided to come back and teach here. She wants to inspire students to figure out who they are, what their passions are, and to help them calm down and teach them how to do that.

Some of Ms. Riback’s hobbies are cooking, paddle boarding, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She wants to travel more and see the world and experience new things. She has a dog named Mocha and had a dog named Shadow who sadly passed away.
