Meeting of the Community Advisory Committee for Special Education (CAC)

Participants will learn about programs and supports available to high school students for their transition to adulthood. Transition planning for students entering new grade spans will also be discussed. Finally, students with IEP's from Oakland Tech will present about their dreams and goals for the future alongside their teachers.

Childcare, Spanish interpretation, and a light meal will be provided. 

Parents, guardians, and students who need individual consultation time with Special Education program staff can receive it between 5:30 and 6pm. The meeting agenda will begin at 6pm.
