5:30pm - 8:00pm

You are invited to join the OUSD Office of Equity's Asian Pacific Islander Student Achievement (APISA) program for our first event: APISA Listening Campaign Reportback & Community Celebration. We're celebrating the founding of OUSD's APISA Initiative,  Our 2017 Youth-Led Participatory Action Research Team, & APISA Collaborative Community Leaders. The APISA Student Research Team will report out on API student needs, best practices & ideas across OUSD and we will honor community leaders who are lifting up our API students.

Help us honor the equity warriors in our community who support and lift-up our Asian Pacific Islander students, youth & families! Please nominate by November 5th elders in our community, staff at school sites, or community leaders working in organizations who represent APISA values: Cooperation & Generosity, Unity & Solidarity, Resiliency & Warrior Spirit, Unconditional Love & Holding Space, Intergenerational Connection, Empowerment & Opportunity, Civic Engagement & Responsibility, Talk Story & Cultural Sharing.
