Overview
Allendale Elementary School is in the Allendale Park neighborhood of East Oakland. We are a fun and welcoming school that helps every student learn and grow!
Our teachers, parents, and staff work together to make our school better. Every week, teachers meet to talk about how students are doing and plan new ways to help them succeed.
At Allendale, we use technology with 32 computers on mobile carts to help students with writing, research, and learning new things.
We also have a Reading Partners program where kids who need help with reading work with adult volunteers. They meet 1-2 hours each week to practice reading and feel more confident.
