Spring 22-23 registration for our English as a Second Language classes is now closed. New student registration for our ESL classes will open in the Fall. Exact dates and times are coming soon.
Walk-in registration for the following courses is now open: (Click on any of the links below to pre-register online)For the enrollment process, all new/returning students will need to complete a CASAS assessment at one of our walk-in registration events. High School Equivalency (GED/HiSET) Classes
Our High School Equivalency preparation classes help students pass the GED or HiSET exam and earn their high school equivalency diploma.

ESL College & Career Readiness Pathways Classes
Students in our English as a Second Language (ESL) courses will improve speaking, listening, reading, writing, vocabulary development and grammar skills to successfully transition to community college courses, GED/HiSET test preparation courses, and/or employment.

ESL Family Literacy Classes
Our family literacy classes provide English as a Second Language (ESL) academic and literacy instruction to OUSD parents at their children's school.

ESL Citizenship Classes
Our ESL Citizenship class prepares students to take the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) naturalization interview and test.

Pre-Apprenticeship Math Class
Our construction pre-apprenticeship class helps students pass the Apprentice Exams for local construction trade unions, including Plumbing, Pipefitting, Welding, HVAC, Sprinkler Fitting, Electrician, Sheet Metal, and more!

The Clemente Course in the Humanities
The Clemente Clemente Course in the Humanities at OACE provides an opportunity for low income adults to participate in a nine-month seminar focused on Critical Thinking and Writing, US History, Literature, Philosophy, and Art History.
