Nutrition Services will be offering FREE Breakfast and Lunch at the following OUSD Summer Learning Sites:

Breakfast:  8:45 - 9:15 AM
Lunch: 11:45 AM - 12:15 PM

*All sites are open M-F from 6/8 until 7/ 10, unless otherwise noted.

Do you need a Summer Meal Accommodation? 

We are proud to offer the OUSD CARES program over the summer, which provides meals free of the top 9 allergens and gluten for students with medical dietary restrictions. To enroll your child in receiving CARES Meals during the summer, please fill out the Summer 2026 CARES Meals Request Form and provide all required information. You can view the OUSD CARES Menu here*. 

Please note that this request is only for the summer. To enroll in CARES Meals for the regular 2026-27 school year, please work with your school administration staff and school nurse. Please allow at least 2 weeks for processing before CARES Meals will begin.

California Meals for Kids Mobile App

The CA Meals for Kids mobile application helps you find nearby California Afterschool and Summer Meal Programs Sites through your iOS, Android, or Microsoft devices.

CDE Summer Meal Service Site Webpage

Provides parents and referral agencies with a list of locations where children may receive free nutritious meals during school vacation and off-track periods. Please call site contact to confirm. 

USDA Summer Meals Site Finder

Families can use the Summer Meals for Kids Site Finder to find directions to nearby meal sites, as well as their hours of operation and contact information. The Site Finder officially launched on May 9th.
