School Menus

Our Menus

All meal items on our menus are available for free to OUSD students!

Our menus are carefully crafted to meet United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) regulations for school nutrition.TK-12 students do not have to turn in paperwork to receive a free meal. Simply have your student go to the cafeteria and ask for a meal.

OUSD Early Childhood Education students must complete this meal form.

If you have questions about the menus at your student's school, please contact Nutrition Services at (510) 879-1700.

Menu changes

We strive to follow our planned menus because we know many of you plan your children's lunches based on what we offer. Unfortunately, sometimes we must change plans because we cannot get certain ingredients. This can happen because of nationwide labor shortages in factories, on farms and with delivery companies. We will update our website as quickly as possible if we need to adjust menus. This video explains the impact of disruptions to the supply chain on school nutrition programs everywhere.

November Menus

November menus are posted below. Menus are listed by meal (breakfast, lunch, supper, etc.), grade levels, and school cafeteria type.

'Satellite' and 'Cooking' labels refer to the type of kitchen in a cafeteria. The type of school kitchen determines what meals our staff are able to prepare.
