    Greetings Parents & Families,

    Welcome to Montera Middle School! Our first day of school for the 2022-23 school year is MONDAY AUGUST 8TH.  Online Registration will open on JULY 1st. All new & returning students must have completed the online registration process BEFORE school starts. Information on how to complete these steps is listed below.

  • Online Registration

    Online Registration (Also called DATA CONFIRMATION) for the 2022-23 school year will open for parents & families on JULY 1st.

    See information below on how to complete your student's registration online.

     

    ***A VALID EMAIL ADDRESS IS REQUIRED TO COMPLETE ONLINE REGISTRATION***

    If you DO NOT have an Aeries Parent Portal Account, please see STEP 1 BELOW to set up your account FIRST.  If you DO have an Aeries Parent Portal Account, Proceed to STEP 2.

     

     

    STEP 1- AERIES PARENT PORTAL SET UP

     

    • Open Chrome, and type in this web address: https://parent.ousd.org
    • After you verify your email address, you will need the following information to set up your parent account for your child:
      - Student Name
      - Student ID
      - Verification Code
      - Phone Number
    • Once your parent account is set up, go to STEP 2 to complete the ONLINE REGISTRATIONS SECTIONS. (You will already be logged into the Registration system)

    STEP 2: ONLINE REGISTRATIONS SECTIONS (also called DATA CONFIRMATION)

     

    • Open Chrome, and type in this web address: https://parent.ousd.org
    • After logging in, look for the yellow banner near the top that says “You have not yet completed the Student Data Confirmation Process.” Hit the Blue "CLICK HERE" option in the yellow banner.
    • Next, confirm/complete all 6 information sections about your student. Be sure to click " confirm & continue”.
    • After all 6 sections are complete, click " Finish & Submit"

    Parentsquare 

     

    In addition to completing Online Registration for the upcoming school year, parents & families will also need to create a PARENTSQUARE ACCOUNT. It is used for Schoolwide/District communications and announcements, as well as daily health screening and Covid status reporting.If you do not have a Parentsquare account, please click here to create one:   PARENTSQUARE

  • School Mask Policy, Daily Health Screening & COVID Resources:

     

    • Masks - Masks are REQUIRED for all students, staff, & visitors. Students should ARRIVE on campus with a mask.

     

    • Health Screening - Parents need to complete the OUSD Health Screens for students DAILY on ParentSquare PRIOR to drop-off on campus. Log in to ParentSquare (or download the app). Learn how to set up a ParentSquare account here.

     

    • COVID Symptoms - If students and staff are experiencing any COVID-like symptoms, regardless of vaccination status, please stay home and get a COVID test.
