OAKLAND, CA April 24th, 2025 - More than 150 students from East Oakland elementary, middle and high schools will
take the stage at Castlemont High School for the 3rd Annual East Oakland Vocal Festival on Wednesday, April 24th at
6pm.

The Kindergarten to College team at Oakland Promise is here to support students throughout their academic careers with the Keep on Moving Kits! Your student will receive either a purple Kindergarten kit or a blue 5th-grade kit from Oakland Promise this week. These bags contain educational materials and are designed to inspire students to begin thinking about college and careers early on. Oakland Promise offers a free K-8 grade scholarship where students can earn up to $500 for college and career. You can sign up for the K-8th grade scholarship by following the instructions on the attached flyer or using the scholarship flyer located in your student's Keep on Moving Kit.
