Laurel Child Development Center

Project Description

The project scope includes demolition of the existing CDC structure and replacement of a new CDC on the existing Laurel campus. The new CDC consists of four pre-school classrooms with the capacity to house 108 children. The front office includes a reception area, principal’s office, a parent resource center, staff workroom, warming kitchen, restrooms, and utility support spaces. Exterior site improvements include play yards, play structures, garden, artificial turf field and bio-swales. The design will meet energy and sustainability guidelines in the Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS).
