Student Internships

Oakland Built Facilities Internship

In collaboration with Linked Learning Office's ECCCO Program, the Facilities Planning and Management Division offers paid summer internships to 10th-12th grade high school students interested in architecture, engineering, program management, construction management, or general contracting fields.

Internship Objectives

  1. Interns will receive professional development training.
  2. Interns will gain experience working in a setting with industry experts.
  3. Interns will apply the CTE skills they’ve learned to their internship.
  4. Interns will receive guidance from professionals in their field of study. 

Requirements

  1. Applicants must be on track to graduate.
  2. Participants must be willing to attend the included professional development sessions and weekly internship mentor check-ins.
  3. Participants must have access to transportation.
