2021 Project Labor Agreement PLA

The Oakland Unified School District's Facilities Department's Project Labor Agreement (PLA) Policy currently mandates a goal of 50% of total project hours are worked on by Oakland residents and a 100% goal of all apprenticeship hours worked on by Oakland residents. The current projects covered by this PLA are County Facilities Fund 25 & 35; Measures A, B, J and Y; and Proposition 39. In 2021, the District approved to amend the current Workforce Development Fund to be increased to .$30.
