Returning Family Enrollment Guide
This guide has been developed to support you to apply for before and after school programs using the OUSD enrollment system. If you need additional support please see Enrollment or email the Student Welcome Center at enroll@ousd.org.
Step 2
As a returning parent you will log in to your existing account.
- Use your Parent Square credentials, either a phone number or email address.
- You can also select to reset your password if you have forgotten it.

Step 3
You will now see your dashboard.
- Your dashboard will list all your students in OUSD, their current schools and grades.
- The dashboard will also tell you what applications are needed for each student based on if they are staying at the same school or moving.

Step 4
Scroll down to the student you are making an application for.
- If you are staying at the same school you will be prompted to make an application to the schools After-School Programs 2026-27.
Click to Start Application →

Step 5
The next screen shows the application is open for your selected student at their current school.
You will have the option to "Browse + Add Programs to Application"
Click on the "+" button at the bottom right to see the available programs at that school.

Step 6
Your current school is listed on the left side.
The program options at that school are also listed, for example, before- or after-school programs.
An + Add button to add each program is also available, add the program of your choice.
The map on the right side shows where the school is located.

Step 7
Once you have selected a program a green check mark ✅ will appear next to it.

You will then click the Continue to Application button on the top right corner of your screen.

Step 8
This returns you to the application page where your choice of After-School Program is now listed.

If you do not wish to browse or add any additional programs from this school click Submit Application for this program.
Step 9
A confirmation box will pop up asking for you to confirm your submission. Click Submit to confirm.

Step 10
You will see confetti animated across the page to confirm that you successfully submitted the application. Your student and program details will be listed.
Families will hear back in April about their applications.

You will have the option to View Application Receipt: you can choose to print for your records.
By clicking on Return to Dashboard you will go back to your dashboard and see your updates.

You can see your After-School Programs 2026-27 application for the student is now highlighted as Submitted.
*Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee a seat in the program. After-School "Offers" will be made in April. Enrollment is not confirmed until a family has accepted their "Offer" and completed any additional site-based requirements.
