Enrollment Application Process

Step 1
Submit an application
This step is for families who are:
- Entering or re-entering the school district.
- Transitioning between key grade levels (e.g., PK to TK/K, 5th to 6th, or 8th to 9th grade).
- Choosing a new school
Applications are never required to stay at your current school.

Step 2
Application assigned waitlist number
No applications are granted immediate enrollment.
- All applications must go through a verification process.
- Applications will be verified even if a school has space.

Step 3
Application verified
Existing and returning students are verified by checking the information in the application against the information in Aeries.
New students are verified by checking the following documents:
- Birth certificate
- Guardian ID
- Proof of residency
- Individual Education Plan (IEP) - if in Special Education

Step 4
Enrollment offers sent
Space permitting, enrollment offers will be made to the schools on a family’s application.
- Offers are not made on demand or as soon as a space opens.
- Offers are made in scheduled windows.
A family may not accept more than one offer at a time.

Step 5
End of Open Enrollment
On the 15th day of school, Open Enrollment ends and all waitlists are dissolved.
- Current students should remain at their schools.
- New students can be enrolled, space permitting, on a first-come, first-served basis.
