• Oakland Unified School District families complete the Intent to Return Form Today


    On Thursday, April 27, 2023, we emailed the Intent to Return Form to each current family in transitional kindergarten through 11th grade, asking about your plans for the 2023-2024 school year.


    Please complete the form and let us know your plans for the upcoming school year.


    Steps to complete the form:

    1. You should have received an email titled:

      1. 2023-24 Intent to Return for <<Your Student’s Name>>

    2. The email was sent from: forms@informedk12.com

    3. This form is specific to your student, SO PLEASE DO NOT SHARE IT.

    4. The form includes the following:

      1. Student's first, middle, and last name

      2. Current School

      3. Current Grade

      4. Student Birthday

      5. Guardian Name

      6. Guardian email

      7. Guardian phone

    5. The form asks a Yes or No question about if your child plans to attend their school for the 2023-2024 school year

    6. You will be asked to provide a reason if your child is not returning.

    7. If your child IS RETURNING, mark N/A

    8. Lastly, it will ask you to type in your signature

    9. Then click submit, and the process is complete.


    Your response shows how much space each school has to accept new students. So if you know your family is moving, it is beneficial to share this information so we can offer a spot to another family. If your plans change, you can always change your response.


    If you did not receive the form, email enroll@ousd.org or visit your school and let them know your status for next school year as soon as possible.
