    Staff, Volunteers, Contractors:

NEW UPDATE: Effective Tuesday, September 7, 2021, all OUSD staff, contractors, and volunteers (including remote workers) will be required to be fully vaccinated, or alternatively, get at a COVID test at least once a week. Staff who are not yet vaccinated, or have yet to upload their proof of vaccination (even if they have previously self-attested), have until Friday, August 27 to upload their proof of vaccination.

    Students and Other Adults:

Vaccines are strongly encouraged for all students as soon as they are eligible. We will also be asking all students and families about their vaccination needs in alignment with a Fall vaccine outreach and campaign. We plan to work with Alameda County and community clinics to set up vaccine pop-ups during secondary school registration events in priority zip codes/census tracts, or at schools where a significant number of students live in these zip codes/census tracts.
