• MY CHILD ATTENDED UFSA LAST YEAR AND IS RETURNING

    1. Go to parent.ousd.org.  If you speak/read a language other than English, choose your language at the top right hand corner of the light blue rectangle above the Aeries Logo (below "Oakland Unified School District").
    2. Log in with your email and password.  If you do not know your login information, please call our Administrative Assistant Ms. Lomeli at (510) 879-3691 or email her at edwiges.lomeli@ousd.org
    3. There will be a large yellow section at the top of the screen that says "You have not yet completed the Student Data Confirmation Process."  Select "Click Here" in that section.
      1. Family Information - Check the appropriate boxes on the right hand side.  Then click "Confirm and Continue" at the bottom of the left hand side.
      2. Student - Select the "change" button to change any information.  Then click "Confirm and Continue" at the bottom of the left hand side.
      3. Contacts - Edit or add contacts.  Then click "Confirm and Continue" at the bottom of the left hand side.
      4. Medical History - Edit or add any medical conditions.  Then click "Confirm and Continue" at the bottom of the left hand side.
      5. Documents - Read the document for key policies.  Then click "Confirm and Continue" at the bottom of the left hand side.
      6. Authorizations - Check all the boxes for which you give authorization, and click "Save" at the bottom of the left hand side.  Then click "Confirm and Continue" at the bottom of the left hand side.
      7. Final Data Confirmation - Click "Finish and Submit" at the bottom of the left hand side. 
    4. If you have another student in OUSD, click "change student" at the top right side of the screen, and complete the Data Confirmation Process.
    5. Your child is now registered at UFSA.

    MY CHILD IS NEW TO OUSD, AND WILL BE ATTENDING UNITED FOR SUCCESS ACADEMY

    1. Take photos of the following enrollment documents:
      1. Immunization records
      2. Child’s birth certificate
      3. Parent ID
      4. Two proofs of residence
    2. Call the OUSD Welcome Center at (510) 879-4600 or email at enroll@ousd.org and a staff member will contact you.
    3. When you speak with a Welcome Center staff member, they will ask you to provide some basic contact information.
    4. Email or fax (510-879-4606) the photos of the enrollment documents to the Welcome Center.
    5. At this point, the Welcome Center staff member will confirm that your child is enrolled in OUSD and will assign your child to United for Success Academy.    
    6. If you have not been contacted by United for Success Academy within two days, please call our Administrative Assistant Ms. Lomeli at (510) 879-3691 and let her know that you have been assigned to United for Success Academy.
    7. UFSA staff will set up an Aeries Parent Portal for you.  Aeries is the name of OUSD’s student information system, and the Aeries Parent Portal is the website where you will register your child for the school.
    8. Once UFSA staff has set up an Aeries Parent Portal for you, you will receive an email with login information and a password.  If you do not have the login information, please call our Administrative Assistant Ms. Lomeli at (510) 879-3691

      6. Authorizations - Check all the boxes for which you give authorization, and click "Save" at the bottom of the left hand side.  Then click "Confirm and Continue" at the bottom of the left hand side.
      7. Final Data Confirmation - Click "Finish and Submit" at the bottom of the left hand side. 
    12. If you have another student in OUSD, click "change student" at the top right side of the screen, and complete the Data Confirmation Process.
    13. Your child is now registered at United for Success Academy.

    MY CHILD USED TO ATTEND OUSD, AND IS NOW RETURNING TO ATTEND UNITED FOR SUCCESS ACADEMY

    1. Call the OUSD Welcome Center at (510) 879-4600 or email at enroll@ousd.org and a staff member will contact you.
    2. Inform them that your child once attended an OUSD school and is now returning.
    3. The Welcome Center staff will let you know what documentation they need.  They will likely already have your child’s birth certificate on hand, and perhaps other documents.
    4. At this point, the Welcome Center staff member will confirm that your child is enrolled in OUSD and will assign your child to United for Success Academy.

    MY CHILD ATTENDED AN OUSD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL LAST YEAR AND IS NOW ENROLLING AT UNITED FOR SUCCESS ACADEMY AS A 6TH GRADER

    1. If you are not sure if your child has been assigned to United for Success Academy, please call the OUSD Welcome Center at (510) 879-4600 or email at enroll@ousd.org and a staff member can help you.

    MY CHILD ATTENDED A DIFFERENT OUSD MIDDLE SCHOOL LAST YEAR AND IS NOW REGISTERING AT UNITED FOR SUCCESS ACADEMY
