Prior to coming to Skyline, Ms. Gapultos was a School Counselor-in-Training at Oakland High School and worked at the University of California Berkeley's School of Social Welfare, providing program support for students and faculty. She is passionate about working with Skyline students to realize their options for success and then helping them get to where they want to be.

Shauna Handrahan joined Skyline High School at the start of the 2016-17 school year. Before that, she was Chair of the School Site Council and an avid volunteer at Montclair Elementary School in the Oakland Unified School District (OUSD).
Shauna has also worked as a counselor for alternative education students in middle and high school in Springfield, Oregon, a high school teacher for Jobs for Maine's Graduates in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine and an English Teacher for the Japanese Exchange and Teaching Program in Aomori, Japan.
Shauna is from the beautiful state of Maine and lives in Oakland with her partner, in a community home that she created and is raising her three children.
Dr. Christina Macalino

As Principal overseeing all of the 9th grade Atlas Houses (Gaia, Metis, Prometheus, and Themis), Dr. Macalino will be temporarily filling the role of Themis House academic counselor while Skyline works to hire a new counselor to fulfill this role.

Ms. McGee has more than 37 years of experience in OUSD. She holds many credentials including: Administrative, Pupil Personnel, Teaching and Community College Credentials. She has served in all capacities and brings hard work, fairness, integrity, and compassion to our counseling department.

Mr. Reyes has over 15 years experience public education as a teacher, Dean of Students, counselor, and administrator working in the communities of San Francisco, Millbrae, Compton, and Los Angeles, California. He has various credentials that include Multiple Subjects, Pupil Services, and Administrative Services and has participated as a member of school site committees, leadership teams, and as a facilitator of school site, district, and state assessments that include the SBAC. He is very excited to be part of the Titan family.
