Important Notice from the Health Benefits Governance Board
Inviting You to the Health & Wellness Fair During This Year’s Open Enrollment Period
The Health Benefits Governance Board (HBGB), the OUSD Labor Unions, Risk Management, and the Benefits Office are hosting a Health and Wellness Fair for all OUSD employees at La Escuelita Elementary School - Great Room on Wednesday, May 6. There will be 2 shuttles provided on the day of the event.
The Health and Wellness Fair also kicks off the OUSD Benefits Open Enrollment period. It is May 1-31. You can enroll and/or make changes to your benefit plans.

STIP Teachers can now cover their dependents under the District Health Plan
Effective July 1st, 2018, STIP substitutes who are eligible for medical coverage may cover their spouse and/or dependents up to the age of 26 under their medical plan, at their own cost.
All forms to enroll in Kaiser Permanente HMO must be returned to the Benefits Office at 1000 Broadway, Suite 295 OR sent directly to your assigned Benefits Representative along with any supporting documentation. For example, if you are enrolling for the first time or adding a spouse and/or children, you will need to attach copy of your marriage license and/or birth certificates for the child(ren). If you are enrolling a domestic partner, you will need to attach a State of California Certificate of Domestic Partnership.
