  • Frequently Asked Questions:

    • When sports start back, do the athletes have to wear masks during the competition?

We will follow the County and District Guidelines. If masks are required, we will make sure that students will not incur a cost.
    • Once games start to happen, would fans be allowed? Or closed arenas?
Again, It will depend on County Guidelines. We are committed to ensuring the safety of students and staff. It is a possibility that we will play games without fans or restricted the number allowed in the gym.
    • Eligibility, how are students being deemed as eligible or not? What grading period would be used?
At the start of January, First Semester Grading will be taken into consideration as well as the credit threshold. (Sophomores = 50 cr, Juniors = 110, Seniors = 170) After that, the district grading periods will be the eligible mark dates.
    • Would it be a requirement for the athletes to get tested before competing?
At the moment, we do not anticipate a requirement for athletes to get tested. We will follow county and district guidelines.
