Parent-Teacher Association (PTA)
Cleveland's PTA raises money for student enrichment programs, organizes community events, and supports teachers. Attending bi-monthly PTA meetings is a great way to stay informed about school activities.
The PTA now funds ALL of the enrichment programs at Cleveland: Ecoliteracy, Art lessons from MOCHA (Museum of Children’s Art), Music with Cantare con Vivo and Living Jazz, Mosaic, and K-2 literacy support (reading tutors). We'll raise money throughout the 2019-2020 school year to meet our budget goal of $125,000.
PTA membership is open to everyone in the Cleveland community. Members help plan our annual events and vote on how we spend money for school programs. Everyone is welcome to attend meetings, volunteer, donate, and enjoy Cleveland's beloved annual celebrations (Spaghetti Night, Walkathon, and Culture Night).
How to join the PTA:
Cleveland parents, guardians, teachers, and school staff may become voting members for just $10 per year. Membership dues support Cleveland and our California State PTA Association (CAPTA).
To join and pay your $10 member dues with a credit card, use the CAPTA-approved online membership platform Totem.
Totem allows you to enroll multiple family members as official PTA members. A $1 fee will be charged for each $10 membership, and there is an option to auto-renew each year on July 1.
Meetings are once a month on Wednesdays 6:30pm-8:00pm.
While the school is closed, PTA meetings will be online via Zoom.
