    The State of California requires all school sites to have School Site Councils (SSCs). The purpose of the SSC is to:
     
     
    §Develop and approve a Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA).
    -** Plan must be reviewed and certified by applicable advisory committees
     
    §Monitor and review the effectiveness of SPSA-planned activities and expenditures.
     
    Evaluate the effectiveness of programs provided to the students.
     
     
    §Review and approve SPSA program or funding revisions.
