Dewey Academy students joined together April 22, 2009 (Earth Day) to show they are passionate about improving the environment and the ecosystem that will help save our planet. Students picked up litter on and around the school site. They also traveled across the street to other school sites and helped clean up the neighboring streets, roads and gardens. Student planted different plants and flowers. They dug up old weeds, without the use toxic pesticides or chemicals. We applaud our students for bringing a conscience effort to our Earth Day celebration!
