    The Skyline High School community engages our students by embracing an education that values critical thinking, academic rigor, cultural responsiveness, and healthy relationships. We strive to create equitable and meaningful learning experiences from which students thrive in college, career, and community with courage, confidence, and joy.


    Skyline is a comprehensive public high school which offers a wide range of academic classes and enrichment opportunities. The school is known for its beautiful campus in the Oakland hills and is host to four robust Linked Learning Pathways (academies) in the fields of Computer Science & Technology, Education & Community Health, Green Energy, and Visual & Performing Arts. Additionally, Skyline is in its third year of the International Baccalaureate - Middle Years Program. From AP classes to athletics, JROTC to Journalism, Student Leadership to Student Enterprise, and Debate and Mock Trail to various clubs - Skyline has something for everyone.

    School Tours:

    Skyline understands the importance of your high school decision and wishes to serve you by presenting complete information about our school. Every fall, Skyline leadership students and parents lead tours of the classes and campus. Our tours start in our Farnsworth Theater for an overview of the school and its programs and end with an opportunity to have any questions answered by our administrative team. Register for a 2018 Campus Tour.

    All tours will be from  9:00-10:30 AM and will be followed by Administration Q & A sesson at 10:30 AM

    Skyline High School will be piloting Shadow Days for prospective students on limited basis this year. Shadow Days will only be open to students who have attended one of our scheduled tours. Once a family has attended an official tour, we will send a Shadow Day registration link directly you. We ask that you respond as soon as possible, as our Shadow Days be open to a limited number of students and students will be accepted on a first respond basis. We look forward to hosting you on our Information Night and on a campus tour and at one of our Shadow Days.
