Transitional K - Marek Bruckner
Kindergarten - Susan Summerfield
This is the sixth year of teaching at REACH Academy for Susan Summerfield. Susan completed her undergraduate studies with a degree in Child Development at Mills College, here in Oakland. She then went on to earn a Master’s in Education through the University of the Pacific. Susan realized her deep love and commitment to teaching while volunteering in her daughter Hannah’s elementary school: when Hannah was ready to move on, Susan was not. So she went back to college (after 30+ years!) to obtain her teaching credential and degrees, and has been in elementary school since. When not at REACH, Susan likes to hike in the Oakland hills or walk on the beach, play cards and board games with her daughter (now college).Kindergarten - Peter CatalfoKindergarten - Chapin Atwood
