Anevay Cruz

My name is Anevay Cruz, I am a senior at Oakland High and I am a Student Director on the OUSD Board of Education for the 2023-24 school year. I am representing OUSD students because I care about the countless decisions that the Board will make that will directly affect students’ educational experiences. I plan to be a powerful voice for our students who need someone to advocate for them and their needs. I will remind my peers that every part of our community has an important and valuable role to play in our district's decisions, and I’ll work to ensure that OUSD students take their rightful seat at the table when it comes to decision making.
