Early Literacy Kings

The Early Literacy King (ELK) program provides mentorship and training to young men of color who are on the path to becoming classroom teachers.  ELK’s serve as tutors and assist current classroom teachers in facilitating instruction and overall social development. The program also provides early learners with classroom role models that reflect themselves.
