Electronic Device Return

We are so delighted that you are in our classes at Oakland Adult and Career Education. We are honored to serve you and work in partnership with you towards your continued education.

We were pleased to have the ability to provide internet hotspots and laptops to you so that you could participate in your classes. Yet, now is the time for you to return the devices that you borrowed unless you are enrolled in and attending one of our summer courses.

To return your laptop and/or hotspot, please do the following:

Come to the OACE Office, located at:

McClymonds High School
2607 Myrtle Street, Oakland

Enter through the parking lot, which is located across the street from 1010 28th Street

  • If you are returning a laptop, make sure you have the laptop and complete charger.
  • If you are returning a hotspot, make sure you have the hotspot, SIM card, and charger.
  • Hotspots will be disconnected for those students who didn’t return their hotspot and who are not enrolled in our summer session.

It would be great if you put your devices in a bag, which will make it easier for collection.

Dates of return:

Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays - 9:30-3:00
Tuesday, 6/1, 4:00-7:00

It is really important that you return the devices you borrowed so that we can continue to serve all our students. If you are in a distance learning class in the fall, you will be able to check out and borrow another device once our classes resume in August. Please note, we will work to support you this summer if returning your devices poses a significant hardship, so when you come to McClymonds, please let us know and we can work with you.
