English and Spanish

The test is on computer. Students should have basic computer skills and keyboarding.

• Reasoning through Language Arts (RLA) — 150 minutes, including a 10-minute break and 45-minute written response
• Mathematical Reasoning — 90 minutes
• Science — 90 minutes, including a 10-minute written response
• Social Studies — 90 minutes

No, you may take the tests separately, in the order you choose.

Total $140, which is $35 x 4 subjects. Students who participate in OACE GED/HiSET preparation can test for free. Other requirements may apply.

Yes, there are 3 forms of each subject test. You may take the same subject test 3 times. If you do not pass after the third try, then you must wait 60 days before retesting in that subject. Merely retaking a test is not enough to raise a score; study and practice testing will enable you to pass.

You must be 18 years old.
