English as a Second Language (ESL)-ESL College & Career Readiness Pathways |
Students in our English as a Second Language (ESL) courses will improve speaking, listening, reading, writing, vocabulary development, and grammar skills to successfully transition to community college courses, GED/HiSET test preparation courses, and/or employment. |
Our Family Literacy classes provide English as a Second Language (ESL) academic and literacy instruction to OUSD parents at their children's school. |

Unlock your digital potential with our comprehensive Digital Literacy class! Designed specifically for adults, this course will guide you through the essentials of navigating today’s technology. Use email and social media, understand online safety and explore Google Apps, Canva and AI to boost your confidence and efficiency. The class is held at three OUSD schools per year. Students aged 18 years or older and enrolled in a local high school can concurrently enroll in our High School Diploma/Credit Recovery Program in order to graduate from their high school. |

Our High School Equivalency preparation classes help students pass the GED or HiSET exam and earn their high school equivalency diploma. |

Our Math for Trades class helps students pass the Apprentice Exams for local construction trade unions, including Plumbing, Pipefitting, Welding, HVAC, Sprinkler Fitting, Electrician, Sheet Metal, and more! |

Project SEARCH is a yearlong, full-time Monday through Friday internship for adults with developmental disabilities. Project SEARCH takes place entirely at a host business site within the community. Total workplace immersion facilitates a seamless combination of classroom instruction, career exploration, and on-the-job training. |

Our Finishing Trades Institute is proud of its achievements in providing professional finishers to the building industry of Northern and Central California and Nevada. Crafts include Commercial Painting, Drywall Finishing, Floor Covering, Glazing, Highway Striping, and Industrial Painting. Our world-class training centers, instructors and curriculum were created to output expert craftspeople to meet the demands of a thriving construction industry. CALRegional provides students with high-quality healthcare training programs through our partnerships with adult schools, community colleges, high schools, and CalRegional Training Institute. The training programs prepare busy adults for employment in as little as three weeks, so they're quickly on their way to a rewarding future in healthcare. Each program includes the National Certification required for employment in the field. |

GEBBCA is an approved state-certified apprenticeship workforce development program for barbers and cosmetologists. All classes are taught by licensed credentialed instructors. The aspect that makes our program unique is that we give people an opportunity. We have an open-door policy to all interested apprenticeship candidates and salon owners seeking approval to start satellite programs within their counties. |
