Update on the New Cole Administrative Building: Site is Now Entirely Closed Until it Opens for Business in the Spring Semester
OUSD is thrilled to announce that the long-awaited opening of the new Cole Administrative Building in West Oakland is just around the corner. Over the past months, the Cole site has been a hub of activity as crews constructed this state-of-the-art Central Office and cleared the way for a fresh new chapter for our district.
As we near completion, the portable trailer that served as a temporary workspace for staff has officially closed as of Monday, November 25. During this final stage of construction, the site will not be staffed to support visitors.
If you’re a student, family, or staff member in need of in-person assistance from a District department, please reach out to that department directly to set up an appointment at one of our alternate locations throughout the city.
