• Our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) Builds Community

    The PTO is your voice here in the Montera community. All families are encouraged to participate by attending our bi-monthly General Membership meetings and the many community building events we hold each year.

    We Need You
    The Montera PTO funds needs big and small not met by the school budget, from classroom supplies to field trips to afterschool programs.  As of December 12, 2016, we've met about 40% of our annual budget for the 2016-2017 school year. It's a good start, but without your donation, we won't be able to keep on funding school requests - both essential needs and the extras that enrich students' lives. Please make your tax-deductible donation by December 31 so we'll know we can continue to fund programs for the rest of the school year.  You can donate through this link to our campaign on youcaring.com, or click over to the Fundraising page to donate through PayPal or by check.  Thank you!
    The PTO Mission
    • Work closely with the Faculty, Administration and Program providers in supporting the students
    • Collaborate with parents, school staff, students, and the community so that we can share thoughts and ideas about programs and activities and improving the environment that will benefit our kids
    • Create a school family so that our children’s world becomes a bigger and safer place
    • Develop ways of communicating with the entire school community, regardless of language spoken, etc.
    • Fundraising for after-school activities (such as art, sports, clubs and music), technology, facilities to improve the quality of the school’s environment and our kids experiences.
