    Courageous Persuaders Scholarship

    The Courageous Persuaders Scholarship is open to high school students nationwide. You must create a 30 - second TV commercial targeted at middle school students to warn them about the dangers of underage drinking. You do not have to be taking a video production course to be eligible. In addition to a scholarship award, the winning team will also have their commercial aired on television.

    National Dunbar/Horace Scholarship

    Applicant must be a senior enrolled in Oakland/Berkeley high school, submit an official transcript, must have at least a 2.75 GPA, attend an accredited college/university, show evidence of need by declaring family size and family income, and submit an essay of 250-500 words on what their major will be, what their goals are for the future, and a brief synopsis on the life of Paul Laurence Dunbar. <Grab one on the Scholarship Board>
