Welcome to Joaquin Miller Elementary School, a caring and collaborative community dedicated to providing a well-rounded education for ALL students!

 

Joaquin Miller School is a K-5 elementary school nestled among evergreens in the Montclair district in the foothills of Oakland. It is one of 90 public schools in the Oakland Unified School District. We have a student body of approximately 430 students. We have a very active Parent Teacher Association (PTA) that supports all aspects of our school and funds many of our special programs. The vision for Joaquin Miller students includes fostering confidence and compassion as we nurture the potential and curiosity of each individual in a safe, respectful learning environment.
