Ms. Ray started working at CCPA as a student teacher for Ms. Novick during the 2021-22 school year before joining the teaching staff in the fall of 2022. Ms. Ray moved to Oakland for an education masters program at UC Berkeley and is excited to call Oakland her new home. Before moving to California, Ms. Ray lived in Salt Lake City while completing her undergraduate degree in chemistry at the University of Utah. Ms. Ray is passionate about science literacy and environmental justice. Outside of school, Ms. Ray loves to go on hikes with friends and learn about native wildflowers in the area!
