• ParentSquare & StudentSquare Official School Communications

    Oakland Tech and OUSD use ParentSquare & StudentSquare for mass communications to our students, families, and staff.

    • ParentSquare automatically sends Oakand Tech and district-wide messages to a student's primary contact via text or email, and provides a website showing past messages. Other contacts and family members can also opt into these school communications by creating a ParentSquare account. (Add the contact to Aeries to enable this.)
    • StudentSquare automatically sends Oakland Tech and district-wide messages to a student's email address.

     

    Please read your messages from the school.

     

    In addition to receiving emails, you can access messages on the websites parentsquare.com and mystudentsquare.com and via mobile apps.

     

    If you aren't receiving messages, please look for a text or email with sign-up instructions. Once logged in, you can control how you receive messages (by email, by text and/or through the app) by clicking on your name in the corner and choosing ‘My Account’.  You can also set notifications to instant, digest (the default) or off for the school and the district. Under ‘Links’, look for useful resources like the Bulldog Daily Announcements slide deck, the Get Connected Calendar, The Bullhorn Newsletter and more.     If you have any questions about ParentSquare or StudentSquare, please contact your student's pathway or grade level Assistant Principal (AP). Your child’s AP will connect you with the proper resources.

    If you have an event, news item or other information you want to send out to the Oakland Tech community, please fill out and submit the form linked below. Your submission will be received by the team of people who manage this website, The Bullhorn email newsletter, our primary Instagram account, and Advisory period announcements.
