The East Bay Consortium’s mission is to increase the number of students finishing high school and enrolling in postsecondary institutions, through intensive educational enrichment. We offer many resources to help improve educational opportunities for students. Through these resources and our efforts, we promote their success in secondary school and in college. Most of our programs serve primarily students from low-income families or from environments with historically low college attendance rates.
EBC offers an intensive academic preparation program through the Pre-Collegiate Academy and in-class and after-school tutoring services.
COLLEGE ADVISING PROGRAMS
College advising services are provided at College and Career Information Centers, college fairs and other events and programs at large to promote higher education.
Read stories from our current students, alumni and staff who have participated in our programs, which have transformed their academic and professional paths.
Money for College
Don’t let money be an obstacle to pursuing higher education. Research your financial aid options: grants and scholarships, educational loans, work-study programs. No matter what type of financial aid you are eligible for, the money is there for you.
The distinguishing factor between scholarships and grants versus the other types of financial aid is that you don’t have to pay grants and scholarships back. Repeat: this is money that you do not have to pay back, ever (FREE Money).
Are you looking for the scholarship(s) that is (are) right for you?
Browse around through this Financial Aid section to familiarize yourself with the types of student aid. Most of the information in this section was taken from the publication “Fund Your Future”, published by the California Student Aid Commission and EdFund. You may also use our Scholarship Directory to search for the scholarships for which you are eligible.
Remember, don’t let money be an obstacle. Use the money that is waiting for you!
