We are thrilled to welcome all students back to full-time in-person school on August 9th! Our school day for all students will run from 8:30-2:45 on M/T/Th/F, and 8:30-1:30 on Wednesday minimum days.


    Important things to know:


    • Registration/Data Confirmation 

    Back-to-School forms/ Registration called Data Confirmation this year can be completed by logging in to the Aeries parent portal (parent.ousd.org). We are asking all families to complete their Data Confirmation forms by September 6. If you prefer, you can use a paper-based option - we will have paper forms available in the office before the school year begins. Please note that the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF) form usually filled out with the Back-to-School forms is now part of the Aeries Parent Portal Date Confirmation. One of the Data Confirmation steps will ask you to verify your income. Please do not skip this step! The income levels of our families are important information that can affect the school funding - if your family income qualifies, you will be helping the school for generations to come. We ask that every family fill this out - it is confidential and completely anonymous when you fill out online.




    • Schedule

    Minimum day schedule for all grade levels will be held the first week of school (August 9-13th) 

    Kinder will continue with a minimum day schedule for an additional week from (August 9-20th)

    • COVID Protocols

    We are committed to a safe and healthy school re-opening, more details about COVID protocols for the new school year will be coming soon.



    • Immunizations  

    All new students need to show proof of immunizations and physicals prior to the first day of school. Immunizations can be hand-delivered to the school office from August 2nd to the 6th from 8:30 am-3:30 pm or emailed to rocio.gutierrez@ousd.org

    • After School Information 

    - EBAYC EBAYC SEED Parent Communication (Please note that all families will need to apply for the after-school program, even those who have already applied.). If you have any questions please email marcel@ebayc.org      

    -SEED shares campus with OUSD Manzanita Child Development Center who also offers an after-school school-age program, here is a        link to their website OUSD CDC Welcome Center for more enrollment information.



    • School Dress Code

    The dress code is important to school safety since students are often outside of the school facility and students in uniform are easily recognized by all school community members. The Manzanita SEED dress code is simple.  We need our families to also help and enforce the uniform by expecting your children to wear their uniforms daily.
