Site Utilization
-
In order to effectively manage District facilities each year, it is critical that OUSD has a standardized facility utilization formula as a means to assess the use of District buildings. The 2020-21 projected baseline site utilization one-pagers (linked below) and the Utilization Dashboard demonstrate how the standard formula has been applied to all OUSD school sites.
The projected baseline site footprint does NOT reflect actual classroom use. Rather, the footprint is a minimum baseline using a standard formula to assess the minimum use expected for each site. Actual classroom use may be higher based on class size, supplemental programs, and instructional models.
