Dashon Burton bass-baritone Singer WorkShop at Montera Middle School

Montera Middle school Choir class were lucky to experience a workshop with Dashon Burton on 2/5/2020. They spent two hours singing and gaining valuable skills to improve their singing. Dashon spent time listening and also singing to the class. He gave them tips on expanding their voices to emphasize the "soul" of the music pieces that they were singing. His calm energy and a booming bass voice filled the room at times while both singing and answering questions that the children had written prior to his visit. "I started taking singing more seriously by 8th grade", he answered to a question about when he was inspired to make singing his career.
