    ACCESS (Medi-cal): 1-800-491-9099. Accesswhj.org Therapy for both individuals and family. They refer to a provider and the provider will provide any treatment that is necessary.  

     

    La Clínica de La Raza (Casa del Sol). (510) 535-4000. Mental Health services for infants/toddlers 0-5 years, school-age youth, & adolescents. Spanish WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Planning) groups. Sliding scale and medi-cal. They can come to the client. Spanish Parenting Education/Support Groups, Spanish Domestic Violence Education/Support Groups (women and children's groups), Spanish Depression Psychoeducation Group, Spanish Trauma Psychoeducation Group (for women), Spanish Grief Psychoeducation Group

     

    Family Paths: Parent support hotline: 1 800-829-3777, 510-893-9230. Adult, family, and childrens’ therapy. They can come to the client. They also have parenting classes. Medi-cal and sliding scale program.

     

    Jewish Family And Children’s Services of the East Bay: Family Justice Center: 470 27th St. (510) 704-7475. Children and family therapy. Sliding scale and major health insurance (no Kaiser), including medi-cal. Parent groups and coaching. Home visits for children 0-8 for family work and therapy.

     

    East Bay Circle of Care: 2540 Charleston Street. Oakland, CA 94602. (510) 531-7551. Grief and loss counseling for individuals and families, support groups. They do not take insurance of any kind for services.  Support groups are offered at $20/family/session, and individual counseling is based on a sliding scale.  However, they do not turn down people for inability to pay for either service. They do work at their clinic but can also go out into schools as long as there is a consistently available room. 

     

    West Coast Children’s Center and Clinic. 269-9030, 9043. 3301 E. 12th Street, Suite 259 Oakland, CA 94601. Individual and family therapy. Case management. Medi-cal only. Clinic, school, home based.
