There's an ELL Ambassador at every school in OUSD who supports the reclassification process and guides educators on instructional and strategic planning for ELL students. You can ask your principal for the name of your site's ELL Ambassador if you have questions about the process or your child's status.
In February 2018, the English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC) replaced the CELDT.
- ELPAC Sample Tests including all of the types of questions that may appear in the Summative Assessment at each grade or grade span.
The ELPAC test is administered in the spring, starting in February.
