Ms. Novick started teaching at CCPA in 2016. She taught previously at Elmhurst from 2008-2011 and then spent some time outside the classroom as an environmental scientist working on water quality issues in San Francisco Bay. She realized, however, that her true passion is teaching and is thrilled to be back in the classroom, particularly at a school with such inspiring students and educators.

Ms. Novick is a long-time resident of Oakland. In her free time, she likes playing soccer, spending time with family and friends and reading books in the park.
