Mike Delaney

Mike Delaney has been teaching at Coliseum College Prep Academy since January 2012. He originally joined the team as an SDC math and science teacher and has since transitioned to teaching his favorite subject, English Language Arts.

Mr. Delaney received his Bachelor of Arts from CSUEB with a degree in Photography and Art History. Currently, Mr. Delaney is completing his Master Degree at Holy Names University in Oakland focusing on issues in urban education.

Before becoming a full-time educator, Mr. Delaney enjoyed his time working a wide variety of jobs including a "first career" in retail management.

Mr. Delaney is married with two children (one boy,one girl) and treasures his time with his family.

In his spare time Mr. Delaney produces a wide variety of theatre and film projects and is currently finishing his first feature length film, "Medias Res", set right here in beautiful Oakland.
