Health and Safety Placements

New, returning and current OUSD students may have unexpected and outstanding events that may make placement in some sites difficult. Student Welcome Centers take all verified safety and health concerns seriously. 

For Safety placement requests, please present to Student Welcome Center staff a recent police report and also please bring it to the attention of school staff. The Student Welcome Center may refer the placement to the Network Offices, in which case the parent/family may be interviewed. 

For Health concerns, the parent must present Student Welcome Center staff with a doctor's note. Decisions on Health placements will be done by the Networks in conjunction with the school site.
