At Horace Mann, the emPower team has engaged the whole school through an Alliance to Save Energy Energy Hog Assembly. Dave Caven is working as our Site Champion, and is a true champion for sustainability. Horace Mann is lucky to have him! The emPower team put on an Energy Breakfast for teachers in order to learn about their energy usage over a delicious breakfast of bagels, coffee, and strawberries. Teachers were able to pick up posters of tips for teachers and students, as well as posters and a light switch sticker for their classrooms. |
