Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP)
We need you to help us shape our 2024-27 Local Control and Accountability Plan.
April and May are the height of LCAP season. Members from all advisory committees and the OUSD community will review what actions and investments will be implemented for the next three years.
This is THE most important time to attend the meetings of the various advisory committees of OUSD.
Go to ousd.org/calendar for additional details.
Community Advisory Committee for Special Education, 2nd Mondays (some exceptions for holidays)
- April 8th and May 13th
All Committees Report at the School Board Meeting, 2nd Wednesdays
- April 10th and May 8th
LCAP Parent and Student Advisory Committee, 3rd Wednesdays
- April 17th and May 15th
District English Language Learners Subcommittee, 4th Thursdays

Foster Youth Advisory Committee, Last Tuesdays
- April 23rd (This date is an exception to the usual sequence of meetings.)
The LCAP Parent and Student Advisory Committee (PSAC) is the voice for families and students from all of OUSD schools.
The members of PSAC advise the School Board, the Superintendent, and other district leaders on the actions and investments that should be included in our Local Control and Accountability Plan and budget. They also help make sure that those actions and investments are implemented and that they are effective. They integrate the perspectives of other committees and the diverse OUSD stakeholders into their recommendations.
LCAP PSAC is a representative body. 60% of the schools in each electoral district of OUSD must have an SSC or SELLS parent member present at the summit for the elections to even take place.
LCAP PSAC brings together school site committee leaders, and the entire OUSD community, at its monthly meetings. We invite you to work with PSAC to make sure that decisions about our actions and investments meet the needs of all students and families.
