The School Site Council is an elected ten member committee made up of 5 staff members and 5 parent/community members. Serving two year terms, the council helps develop Hoover's academic and safety plan. (SPSA: single plan for student achievement) They are consulted on many decisions concerning the school's vision and planned activities. The council is also the sole decision maker on federal Title I funds, which focuses on student achievement of our most at risk students.
The SSC meets monthly at 8:30 AM on the first Wednesday of the month in the cafeteria. All meetings are open to the public, with the agenda posted several days before.
